Financial results: bmp, UCA

bmp AG has announced a loss of EUR 11.9m for the year 2002, that is around 80% less than in the previous year, when bmp announced losses of EUR 62.9m. The loss came mainly from portfolio write downs, which accumulated to EUR 6.3m. Turnover increased by 22% from EUR 6.4m in 2001 to EUR 7.9m in 2002. EBITDA increased from EUR -10.4m to EUR -4.6m, while EBIT was EUR -10.8m compared to EUR -61.1m in the previous year.

UCA AG made a turnover based on share sales of listed and unlisted companies of EUR 1m. EBT was around E-370,000. UCA has 14 aktively managed portfolio companies left which currently have a joint value of EUR 3.2m. The firm has liquide monies of around EUR 19m and credit of EUR 3.6m at Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau.
