Financial results: DBAG
Deutsche Beteiligungs AG recorded a consolidated net loss of E3.3m for the second quarter of the current financial year. Subsequently the firm's net income of EUR 3.4m euros reported at 31 January 2003 has decreased to EUR 100,000 at April 30. The unsatisfactory economic trend has impacted the business of several portfolio companies, in particular in the USA. However, income from investments and other operating income, such as fund management fees, were sufficient to cover operating expenses and finance costs.
