Haarmann Hemmelrath
Haarmann Hemmelrath has strengthened its banking and capital market practice with the addition of lawyer Dr Andreas Fillmann. He joins the Frankfurt office of the international law firm as a partner from White & Case LLP. Andreas Fillmann began working for White & Case LLP in 2001. Previously he managed the law division of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi in Germany. Andreas Fillmann's areas of expertise include national and international capital market law, banking law, derivatives documentation and advising on investment funds/hedge funds. In February, Haarmann Hemmelrath had already moved to strengthen its banking and capital market legal practice team in Frankfurt with the arrival of lawyer Dr Christoph Schmitt who deals primarily with banking supervision law. The area of equity capital markets is covered by partner Jan Sudmeyer who moved to Frankfurt from the Hamburg office in 2004. The banking and capital market law practice group at Haarmann Hemmelrath now boasts 45 partners across all 22 offices.
