Aurelia Private Equity
Professor Klaus Nathusius, one of the founding fathers of the German venture capital industry, has joined the board of Aurelia Private Equity. As the director of GENES GmbH Venture Services, Nathusius founded one of the first venture capital funds in Germany in 1982. In 1996, GENES then became German partner of the EUROVENTURES-network, a network of venture funds across Europe, which included investors such as ABM AMRO, New York Life Insurence, Philips, Prudential Insurance, RaboBank and Dresdner Bank AG amongst others. GENES GmbH is also a founding member of the Bundesverbandes Deutscher Kapitalbeteiligungsgesellschaften (BVK e.V.). During 1988-89, Nathusius was director of the board of the European Venture Capital Asociation (EVCA), and is also a honorary Professor of Kassel University, and since 2003, lecturer at Göttingen University.
