David Wyndham Jones has become head of the unit 'Renewable Energies' at Allianz Specialized Investments Ltd in London. Allianz Specialized Investments is a subsidiary of Allianz Capital Partners. Jones was previously head of wind energy at energy group Shell in Amsterdam. In London, he will expand business with renewable energy within the scope of private equity activities at Allianz. The focus here will be on wind energy, in particular on direct investments in wind farms. Alongside David Wyndham Jones, Andrew Cowley and Bill Cowcraft will be leading the team "Renewable Energies". The team reports to Thomas Pütter, spokesman for the executive management of Allianz Capital Partners.
