DB Capital Partners
DB Capital Partners, the sole private equity unit of the Deutsche Bank Group, has announced the appointment of Fritz Seikowsky as head of DB Capital Partners Germany, responsible for overseeing all of Deutsche Bank’s later-stage private equity activities in Germany and German-speaking countries. Seikowsky, a managing director, will be based in Frankfurt and report to Graham Clempson, European managing partner of DB Capital Partners in London. Seikowsky served for more than 16 years at Bain & Company, the consulting firm, where he rose to managing director for Germany and Switzerland from his initial role as consultant. He grew the German/Swiss team from 40 to more than 200 professionals to become Bain’s most profitable operation globally and served on the worldwide executive committee. Previously, Seikowsky co-founded and led Bain’s European private equity group and was responsible for due diligence and post-acquisition programs for leading US and European LBO firms. He also directed the turnaround and disposal of a large German LBO fund. Most recently, he was a partner and co-leader Europe at eVolution, a joint venture of Bain, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Texas Pacific Group.
