ATB Beteiligungs rebrands
ATB Beteiligungs GmbH, headquartered in Vienna, has been renamed A-TEC Industries GmbH. This decision was recently announced by majority stakeholder Mirko Kovats. ATB Beteiligungs GmbH is particularly active in the engineering sector and owns, amongst a host of portfolio companies, Austrian Energy & Environment AG, the company that took over Von Roll Inova Holding AG in October 2003. According to Kovats, the new name is the first step towards a restructuring of the A-TEC industries group, and after accelerated growth in the last few years the company is hoped to be ready to float on the European stock exchange in 2005. The A-TEC Industries GmbH group currently employs around 3,900 staff in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the US, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic and Croatia, and had a group turnover of E700m in 2003.
