Haarmann Hemmelrath
As part of the targeted process of consolidating and expanding the firm's core advisory areas, Haarmann Hemmelrath has strengthened its Frankfurt office. Dr Ingo Scholz joins the office as a national partner on 1 July 2004. The 34-year-old is making the switch from Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom. Scholz's specific areas of expertise include stock corporation law and the law relating to groups of companies, takeover law as well as Mergers & Acquisitions. He has gained professional experience through a number of major national and international accounts including acting as adviser for the Ball Corporation on the acquisition of Schmalbach-Lubeca AG, during the sale of Comdisco Deutschland GmbH to the Comprendium Group as well as in the auction process for the ThyssenKrupp IT subsidiary Triation. At Haarmann Hemmelrath he will support Professor Wilhelm Haarmann and partner Jan Sudmeyer, who recently moved from Hamburg to Frankfurt, in developing the M&A and capital markets practice.
