Castle Private Equity reports latest results
Castle’s NAV has recently declined on a combination of weaker partnership valuations and a sliding dollar. Partnership valuations were in part negatively impacted by declines in the value of public stock in their portfolios. The market adjustments of 1999/2000 have left their mark in particular. The firm expects exits over the coming months to compensate for write-offs. However, Castle says that the financial markets show few signs of recovery and a back-to-normal scenario could not yet be forecasted.
