Alpine Equity co-head Rehman leaves

Omer Rehman, partner at Austrian private equity firm Alpine Equity, has left the firm after 10 years at the helm.
Harald Pöttinger, who shared the firm's management with Rehman, will lead the firm by himself until a replacement is found.
Rehman started his career at Creditanstalt in Vienna in 1996 and moved to Roland Berger Strategy Consultants three years later. He joined Alpine in 2006.
Rehman is on the board of Startups Allgäu, an Austrian incubator for young businesses. He stated his focus in the future will be on passing on knowledge to younger generations.
