Thiermann joins Noerr from P+P Pöllath

Christoph Thiermann has joined law firm Noerr’s private equity and venture capital group from P+P Pöllath + Partners.
Thiermann joined the firm's private equity team in Munich on 1 September as associate partner. He advises clients on investments and takeovers, as well as restructurings and divestments. Thiermann also works with companies on M&A transactions both on the buyer and the vendor side, specialising in buyouts in the mid-cap area.
At Noerr, Thiermann will primarily work with Georg Schneider, who heads the firm's private equity and venture capital group.
Thiermann's career started in 2011 at P+P. One of the deals he worked on was OpCapita's acquisition of Appelrath Cüpper in May this year, from Advent International and the Kreke family.
Among Noerr's clients are Oakley Capital, Capita, Orlando and Axcel. The firm recently advised the latter on its acquisition of slaughterhouse machinery manufacturers SFK Leblanc, Attec, Itec and Carometec.
