
May to leave Silverfleet by year-end
Silverfleet Capital partner Guido May will leave the firm by the end of the year, unquote" understands.
At the time of publication, May's future position remains undisclosed, but a source familiar with the matter told unquote" that he could be taking some time off.
May joined Silverfleet in 2001, where he focused on deal-sourcing across the DACH region, targeting the manufacturing segment in particular. During his career at the GP, he worked on the firm's investments in Kalle, European Dental Partners and Jost – three assets fully exited in 2016, 2011 and 2008, respectively – as well as the most recent SBO of Competence Call Center from Ardian in December 2013.
Prior to joining Silverfleet, May worked for three years at 3i and held senior managing roles at several industrial groups.
