Alantra hires Vukovich to head new Vienna office
Investment banking and asset management firm Alantra has hired Unicredit's former co-head of corporate finance advice, Klaus Vukovich, to head its new Vienna office.
Alantra will launch its CEE activities through the office with the incorporation of an investment banking team. It will also support the firm's DACH activities, which are currently run from the Frankfurt and Zurich offices.
The team will be expanded in the coming months and is currently hiring senior and junior M&A professionals from a range of sectors and countries in the region.
Alantra has conducted 40% of its private-equity-related corporate finance advisory business in the DACH region, according to unquote" data. It was ranked as the ninth largest M&A player in the first half of 2017 by unquote" sister publication Mergermarket.
