
DBAG hires Robert Schmidt as partner

Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG) has appointed Robert Schmidt as industrial partner for finance and controlling.
Schmidt will provide support to the DBAG investment team in selecting, reviewing and supporting portfolio companies, utilising his experience as a CFO.
Prior to joining DBAG, Schmidt worked as CFO for DBAG portfolio company Spheros, which was sold to Valeo in 2016 with a return in excess of 2x.
Schmidt started his career at Demag Cranes, which was owned by KKR at the time, and subsequently worked in management consultancy with a focus on PE-backed companies.
