Gain Capital re-hires Martin Prohazka
Austrian fund-of-funds manager Gain Capital Partners has re-hired its co-founder Martin Prohazka as managing director, 10 months after he left the firm.
In his new role, Prohazka will be responsible for investment allocation and manager selection, as well as raising a new fund-of-funds with a focus on European mid-market buyout vehicles. He will also manage existing GP relationships.
Prohazka left Gain Capital in December 2016 after nearly 11 years with the firm. Prior to this he was a partner at Austrian private equity house Invest Equity, which he founded, for eight years.
