
Baird hires Goldman’s von Selzam

Baird Global Investment Banking has hired Goldman Sachs executive director Ralph von Selzam as managing director in its Frankfurt office.
Von Selzam will be responsible for expanding the bank’s coverage in the DACH region and broadening relationships with private equity, corporate and family office clients.
At Goldman, von Selzam was executive director in the global industrials team and the global M&A group. Prior to becoming executive director, he held a variety of other roles during his 15 years at the firm.
Baird posted its fifth consecutive record year in 2017, with overall M&A volume up 36% on 2016 and cross-border activity increasing by 22%.
