Argos Soditic rebrands to Argos Wityu
Franco-Swiss GP Argos Soditic has rebranded to Argos Wityu, signalling the end of its association with Soditic bank.
The late Maurice Dwek, the founder of Soditic bank, had previously owned a minority stake in the GP.
Argos Wityu said the new name is a shortening of "with you", which reflects the international character of the group, as well as its values of partnership and transparency. Argos, which the GP calls the heart of the name, refers to the ancient Greek city of the same name.
The GP closed its seventh buyout fund, Euroknights VII, on its €520m hard-cap in November 2017 and has already made six investments from the vehicle across France, Italy and the Netherlands.
