Golding hires Allianz director Sedlmayr
Golding Capital Partners has appointed former Allianz Global Investors director Marco Sedlmayr as managing director.
In his new role, Sedlmayr will be responsible for institutional client services, and sales to insurance companies and pension funds in the DACH region.
At Allianz, Sedlmayr was a member of the European insurance team, responsible for supporting insurance companies and pension funds with their individual investment programmes. Prior to joining Allianz, Sedlmayr worked for KPMG, JP Morgan and Crédit Agricole.
Golding is preparing to come back to market with its private equity fund-of-funds strategy, Golding Buyout 2018, after holding a final close on €364m for its predecessor Golding Buyout 2015. Golding Infrastructure 2018 has also launched with a €750m target.
