HQ Capital signs joint venture with China's Yuanju
Frankfurt-based asset manager HQ Capital has signed a joint venture agreement with Chinese investment firm Yuanju Capital Management.
Yuanju is a multi-strategy fund manager set up by Chinese state-owned asset manager Everbright Financial Holding Asset Management and Chinese private equity fund Prosnav Capital.
The new venture will give institutional clients access to a range of strategies including PE, VC and funds-of-funds through RMB denominated vehicles and managed accounts.
HQ Capital is a global asset manager with 10 offices in North America, Europe and Asia; it employs 140 people and has an AUM of $11.3bn. The German family office of the Harald Quandt family is the anchor investor.
