Aurelius expands management team

Aurelius Equity Opportunities has expanded its management team with the appointment of Matthias Täubl to the executive board, while previous board member Donatus Albrecht becomes head of M&A strategy.
Täubl will join the executive board and take responsibility for operational realignment of portfolio companies. He joined Aurelius in 2008 and was active in the turnaround of Getronics, which was sold to Brazilian trade buyer Bottega for €220m in July 2017.
Albrecht will be responsible for acquisitions and sales across all business areas in his new role. He will step down from the executive board to concentrate on this role. Albrecht has worked for Aurelius for more than 12 years and managed 70 corporate transactions in that time.
Aurelius is a Munich-based privately held investment company, specialising in turnaround situations.
