Graphite announces four promotions
UK-based Graphite Capital has promoted Mark Hall to senior partner, Liam McGivern to partner and John Western and Tony Saade to investment directors.
Hall joined Graphite in 2008 after stints at Lyceum Capital and Gresham Partners. He focuses on the healthcare and education sectors and has worked on the acquisitions of City & County Healthcare, Explore Learning, NRS Healthcare, Education Personnel and Willowbrook.
McGivern works on transactions in the services sector, including Graphite's investments in sk:n, nGage, and Random42. He previously worked at mezzanine provider Pricoa Capital Group before joining Graphite in 2014.
Western joined Graphite in 2016 from the M&A team at Jefferies. He works across a variety of sectors at the firm.
Saade worked at Roland Berger and then at Duke Street in the consumer and business services sector before joining the firm in 2016.
Graphite held its final close for its Graphite Capital Partners IX fund in July 2018; the vehicle invests in companies with enterprise values of £25-200m.
