Swiss bank launches impact investment arm
Reyl Group has launched an impact investing asset management affiliate, aiming to provide financial returns and positive impact.
Asteria Investment Managers is set to provide institutional investors with access to private equity and private debt, among other assets classes, including sustainable bonds, alternative strategies, and thematic listed equities.
The new subsidiary is exclusively dedicated to ESG and impact investing, using the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its frame of reference.
The products and strategies will be structured around four areas of focus: diversity and inclusion, preservation of the planet, support for developing countries, as well as innovation and technology as drivers for change.
Based in Geneva, Katia Coudray serves as the organisation’s CEO.
Other members of the team include head of investments Guido Bolliger, head of research Natacha Guerdat, and head of fixed income and private debt strategies Fabio Sofia. Francesco Genovese is responsible for the sales and overall commercial development.
As part of the organisation’s plan to enhance its offering, Asteria is set to make one or more acquisitions.
