Lindsay Goldberg in talks to sell Schur Flexibles
Lindsay Goldberg Vogel is entering the final stages of talks to sell Austria-based packaging manufacturer Schur Flexibles.
Unquote understands that Partners Group is one of the remaining two bidders in the auction process.
The transaction is expected to be completed in Q1 2020.
The auction process was launched in June 2019 with Goldman Sachs as sell-side adviser, as reported by Unquote sister publication Mergermarket.
Mergermarket reported in October 2019 that bidders including PAI Partners and Onex were involved in the auction process. The company is being marketed based on EBITDA of €90-100m and a valuation of more than €700m.
Lindsay Goldberg bought Schur Flexibles from Capiton in July 2016.
Founded in 2012, Schur Flexibles operates 22 plastic packaging production sites throughout Europe and is based in Baden, Lower Austria. The company reports annual sales of €520m and has a headcount of 1,900.
Lindsay Goldberg and Partners Group declined to comment.
