ELF hires Wimpff as investment director
Private debt firm ELF Capital has hired Florian Wimpff as an investment director in its Frankfurt-based team, where he will lead the investment team's operations.
Wimpff has prior experience at ESO Capital and Herter & Co.
ELF was formed in 2020 by Christian Fritsch, who founded the firm following three years at ESO. He also has experience in restructuring and direct lending roles at Lazard and Cerberus.
ELF provides capital to DACH-based Mittelstand and lower-mid-market companies, although the firm also invests in businesses based in the UK, Benelux and the Nordic region.
