Cipio hires new venture partner
Cipio Partners has appointed Ansgar Kirchheim as a new partner in its investment team, alongside the promotions of David Kreppel and Dennis Koerner.
Kirchheim has joined the firm's investment team as a full-time venture partner, and will focus on new investments and portfolio management.
He previously co-founded and led KircTec, a German technology company, and served as a partner at High-Tech Gründerfonds, a German firm making seed and early-stage technology investments.
Cipio also announced the promotions of David Kreppel to principal and Dennis Koerner to senior associate.
Founded in 2003, Cipio targets European growth-stage technology businesses with €10-100m in revenues and makes initial investments of €3-10m. It operates from offices in Luxembourg and Munich.
The firm held a final close for its growth capital investment vehicle Cipio Partners Fund VII on €174m in mid-2017. According to Unquote Data, its successor was registered in January 2020.
