
BayBG appoints Herreiner as managing director

Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft (BayBG) has announced the appointment of Peter Herreiner as its new managing director, as of 1 February 2021.
Herreiner has prior experience in structured finance and investments. Before joining BayBG, he held several roles with HVB Unicredit in Germany. He has also been the deputy chairman of BayBG's supervisory board since 2017.
Herreiner is to replace previous managing director Karl Christian Vogel after he left his role in January 2021.
BayBG provides various forms of financing to Bavaria-based Mittelstand companies, including both equity and mezzanine funding, as well as venture capital. The firm also invests in turnarounds and succession solutions.
