Schroder Adveq registers fourth secondaries fund
Schroder Adveq has registered its fourth-generation secondaries fund.
The fund has been registered in Luxembourg and has a life term of 12 years from its first close, which can be extended by three one-year periods.
Both a US dollar-denominated and a euro-denominated vehicle have been registered.
The fund's predecessor closed on €235m in May 2018 against a target of €200m. The fund was registered as a UK LP in October 2015 and launched in March 2016.
The firm's secondaries funds have typically followed the strategy of focusing on making smaller transactions typically from smaller funds, mid-sized buyouts, development capital, seed and early-stage venture capital and special situations funds.
LPs in Schroder Adveq Secondaries III included GastroSocial Pensionskasse, Georg Fischer Pensionskasse, Inter Versicherungsgruppe and Universal Investment, according to Unquote Data.
Schroder Adveq declined to comment on the fundraise.
