Nord Holding hires Ufenau’s Kukwa

Nord Holding has announced the appointment of Christian Kukwa as principal; Kukwa joins the Germany-based GP from Ufenau Capital Partners.
In his new role, Kukwa will work as part of Nord Holding’s mid-cap team and will focus on the business services sector.
Kukwa spent two years with Switzerland-headquartered buy-and-build specialist Ufenau, prior to which he spent four years with HIG Capital’s private equity team as a senior investment manager. He also has experience in management consulting with AT Kearney.
Nord Holding invests in DACH-based small-cap and mid-cap businesses. The GP’s recent activity includes the launch of its small-cap fund, which saw Jan Markus Drees and a team from VR Equitypartner join the firm, as reported by Unquote.
