Unigestion gears up for Climate Impact Fund
Switzerland-headquartered alternative investment manager Unigestion has made a regulatory filing for the Unigestion Climate Impact Fund.
The GP made a filing for the Luxembourg-domiciled vehicle earlier in this month.
A Unigestion spokesperson told Unquote: "We have been investing in the climate impact sector for 12 years and so have a strong conviction on climate impact as a strategy. However, it is early days; we are currently having initial discussions with existing investors so have not yet set a date for the first close."
The filing comes shortly after the launch of the EUR 1bn fundraise for the GP's latest direct fund, as reported.
The firm is currently on the road for Unigestion Secondary Opportunity V, which has a EUR 700m target. Unigestion is anticipating a final close for this shortly, as reported.
In addition, Unigestion is currently fundraising for its second Emerging Managers Choice fund, according to Unquote Data. The fund has a EUR 300m target and will make a mixture of fund and direct investments with European emerging managers.
