Unigestion’s de Dardel to succeed Frick as CEO

Christophe de Dardel is to take up the role of the CEO at Switzerland-headquartered asset manager Unigestion from 1 January 2023, succeeding Fiona Frick after her 12-year tenure in the role.
Frick spent 32 years with Unigestion in total, during which she led the development of the firm’s equities strategy. She also developed the firm’s diversification, institutionalisation and sustainability, the firm said in a press release.
Once she steps down from her position, she plans to take up board and consultant roles relating to investment allocation and sustainability issues, according to the press release. In addition, Frick plans to work on creating links between the finance industry, sustainability and academia.
The change in leadership will see head of private equity de Dardel lead Unigestion’s future development, having spent 22 years with the firm.
The new appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
Unigestion manages a range of private equity, equities and multi asset and wealth management strategies. Its recent activity include the launch of a climate impact strategy, as well as the ongoing fundraise for its second emerging managers-focused fund.
