Latham & Watkins grows Munich team
Latham & Watkins has added Rainer Traugott as a partner in the corporate department of its Munich practice.
Traugott joins Latham from Linklaters, where he has worked for the past 14 years, most recently as a partner for corporate/M&A and head of private equity for Germany.
Latham had already expanded its corporate advisory team last year. In February 2015, Oliver Felsenstein, Clifford Chance's former head of corporate advisory in Germany, joined the firm as a partner, as did Burc Hesse, another former Clifford Chance partner, active in M&A and private equity.
Latham provided vendor-side advice when Bain Capital-backed Wittur bought Sematic, a producer of elevator components, in August 2015.
