Chequers Capital buys Versatel Kabel for €66m
French private equity house Chequers Capital has acquired the cable network business Versatel Kabel from listed German network operator Versatel AG for €66m.
Versatel AG had been looking to sell the business in order to focus exclusively on its B2B business and withdraw from the end-consumer cable market.
