bmp et al. sell nugg.ad to Deutsche Post
bmp AG and IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft have sold Berlin-based nugg.ad to Deutsche Post for an undisclosed amount.
Fellow investors European Founders Fund and Cologne Media Ventures GmbH have also exited.
bmp generated a 50% IRR on its investment. The venture capitalist first backed nugg.ad together with IBB in 2006, with each taking a 17.5% stake in the company. Follow-on funding rounds saw bmp increase its shareholding to 22.89%.
nugg.ad was founded in May 2006 and provides solutions for behavioural targeting, used by advertisers, media agencies and ad marketers to minimise wastage through untargeted advertising and increase the effectiveness of internet advertising.
