Adveq promotes Arnaboldi and Knauer
Switzerland-based fund-of-funds Adveq has promoted Gaia Arnaboldi and Anne-Juliane Knauer to executive directors.
Arnaboldi joined Adveq in 2006 as a senior associate in the investment management team. There, she was notably active in the establishment of Adveq's small to mid-size buyout and turnaround investment programme in the US. She was made vice president in 2007. Arnaboldi left the firm in 2010 to travel and mentor social entrepreneurs in Africa and then re-joined Adveq in 2011 as co-head of the firm's global real assets initiative.
Arnaboldi holds a double masters in environmental engineering and sustainable infrastructure from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. She also holds an MBA from INSEAD.
Knauer joined Adveq in 2012 as vice president. She is the firm's legal counsel and chief compliance officer. Prior to joining Adveq, Knauer worked as legal counsel for a Swiss private bank and investment manager. Previously, she was a banking and finance lawyer in Frankfurt and London.
Knauer qualified as a lawyer in Germany and as a solicitor in England and Wales.
