Linklaters appoints Andreas Steck as head of finance law
Linklaters has appointed Andreas Steck as head of finance law in Germany.
Steck succeeds Carl-Peter Feick, who starts as new German senior partner on 1 May.
He will also joins the firm's German executive committee.
Andreas Steck began in 1997 at KPMG and moved to Linklaters in 2000, where he was appointed partner in 2004.
He specialises in bank supervision, investment law and insurance regulation.
Steck advised the economic ministry on the restructuring law for system critical banks, the IKB AG during its restructuring and Citbank's sale of its private customer business to Crédit Mutuel.
