
Luther hires Gittermann and Wegerich
German law firm Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft has appointed new partners Stephan Gittermann and Ingo Wegerich, as well as the teams working with them in their previous positions.
Gittermann und Wegerich will join Luther from October 1.
Gittermann specialises in corporate and capital market law. He had previously been working at Mayer Brown since 2007. He notably advised on the IPO of airport operator Fraport and the acquisition of coating producer Schramm by paint manufacturer Akzo Nobel.
Senior associate Sven Labudda left Mayer Brown together with Gittermann to join Luther. He had been working at Mayer Brown since 2008. The pair will enhance the corporate and capital market law sectors in Luther's Hamburg and Frankfurt offices.
Wegerich specialises in debt capital market law with a focus on structured corporate financing, now strengthening Luther's team in the banking and capital market sector in the Frankfurt office.
He had previously been working at BRP Renaud & Partner since 2006, from where he left together with a team of four associates to join Luther.
