Milbank hires Rinne for new antitrust practice in Germany
Law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy has appointed antitrust lawyer Dr Alexander Rinne as partner in its Munich office.
Rinne, who will be joined by associates Dr Andreas Boos and Dr Tatjana Mühlbach, will establish Milbank's antitrust practice in Germany and Europe.
Dr Alexander Rinne has been a partner in SJ Berwin's Munich office since 2001 and was head of SJ Berwin's German and European antitrust practice. He specializes in merger control procedures as well as cartel investigations and proceedings before the relevant antitrust authorities dealing with the violation of dominant positions. He also has extensive expertise in cartel proceedings before German and European courts where he represents clients, particularly in the context of antitrust summary proceedings, remedial actions and merger clearances.
This appointment brings the number of partners in Milbank's German practice to 11, with a total of 34 lawyers in Germany.
