KKR sells recycling company DSD
British private equity group Solidus Partners has backed the acquisition of Duales System Deutschland (DSD) for an undisclosed amount.
The funding will be used for the further development of the firm, including an expansion into the European market. Philippe von Stauffenberg from Solidus Partners will become chairman of the DSD board. The deal is expected to be closed in the coming weeks.
Duales System Deutschland, founded in 1990, is a recycling company based in Cologne. KKR acquired DSD in 2005 for €260m.
