
GCP appoints Bauer as mezzanine partner

Austrian mezzanine investor Gamma Capital Partners (GCP) has appointed Clemens Bauer as partner in its office in Vienna.
Following his appointment at GCP, Bauer will focus on building up the firm's mezzanine firepower in the consumer goods market.
Bauer's main experience lies in the marketing of fast-moving consumer goods. He previously worked at Baumax International, 3M (where he worked on the marketing of popular brands Post-it and Scotch) and Henkel.
GCP is a growth capital investor that was founded in Vienna in 2002. The firm manages two venture capital funds in addition to its GMP Gamma MezzoPreneurs I mezzanine fund, which was launched in 2008, and the GIC Gamma Invest Corporation AG fund-of-funds. In total, the firm has €90m of investment capital under management.
