Partech increases Germany focus with new partner
Partech has appointed Olivier Schuepbach as a new partner in its Berlin office.
The French national, who started his new role this month, leads a team of three in the firm's Berlin office.
His appointment is part of Partech's plan to raise its exposure in Germany. The VC will invest in Germany through three funds, Partech Entrepreneur, Partech International and Partech Growth.
Schuepbach joins Partech from his own investment firm, Alm Ventures, which he founded in Munich in 2012 and led for three years.
He started his career at IBM in 2000, where he worked for two years, before taking on a role at Texas Instruments.
After completing his MBA in 2006, Schuepbach was a principal at Wellington Partners for three years. He then worked for companies including SecretSales, brands4friends and MarkaVIP until 2012.
