Bmp floats K2 Internet at Warsaw Stock Exchange
Bmp investment's portfolio company, K2 Internet SA has floated its shares on the Warsaw Security Market. The opening price was PLN 24.99 per share and thus slightly below the issue rate of PLN 25.
The flotation included the issuing of 330,000 new shares and the flotation of 258,523 Bmp AG's shares. Pension and investment funds subscribed to a predominant part of the issues. Among these, three funds under the management of BZ (WBK, AIB and Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych SA) hold 200,999 shares, equaling 9.90% of the company, making them the largest financial investors in the company after Bmp.
The company raised PLN 8.25m following the IPO. The new capital will be used to extend the service portfolio of the K2 group.
Bmp AG first invested in K2 in June 2000 and still holds 23%. Based in Warsaw, K2 Internet renders services for the use of new media and technologies in the area of e-business.
