MenschDanke buys VC-backed Versus
Internet business MenschDanke Group has acquired Earlybird-backed product comparison platform Versus.
Versus.com will continue to operate as a stand-alone business and brand. The deal sees investors Earlybird and 500 Startups exiting their investment after a little more than three years. The VCs invested in the company's $2.8m series-A alongside High-Tech Gründerfonds and business angels. Versus received its first funding from a business angel in August 2012.
Terms of the deal remain undisclosed, but news platform TechCrunch said the business was sold for a low eight-figure sum.
