Invision acquires TintenCenter
Swiss mid-cap buyout house Invision Private Equity has fully acquired German online toner and ink cartridges retailer TintenCenter.
The GP acquired the company from the founding family and aims to expand the business organically through operational improvements, as well as internationally via strategic bolt-on acquisitions, according to a source familiar with the situation.
Following the transaction, TintenCenter managing director Markus Schroeder will continue to lead the business.
The GP acquired a majority stake in German competitor TonerPartner in November 2016. The business recently expanded into the Swiss and Austrian markets while under Invision's ownership, and intends to expand further into the French, Dutch and Spanish markets, unquote" understands.
