
High-Tech Gründerfonds sells Fruux
German VC firms High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Mountain Partners hasve sold their stake in cloud-based software developer Fruux.
HTGF sold its stake to the company's founder, Dominik Tobschall, after a five-year holding period, as did existing shareholder Mountain Partners. Following the deal, Tobschall and the founding team will be the sole owners of the business. Financial details surrounding the transaction remain undisclosed.
HTGF investment manager Jan Sessenhausen, who led the original investment for the German GP, left the firm in 2014 to join Tengelmann Ventures, unquote" understands.
Previous finding
In March 2012, HTGF led an undisclosed seed funding round for the business alongside angel investor NetStart.
NetStart then sold their share to Mountain Partners along with the rest of their portfolio in April 2015.
