
Waterland buys Swyx Solutions
Waterland Private Equity has acquired corporate communications company Swyx Solutions.
Terms were not disclosed. The acquisition is the first step in the GP's new buy-and-build strategy in the IT sector, including cross-border process outsourcing software group Hanse Orga.
The focus will be on international growth, expanding on Swyx's presence in the UK and France to increase international sales from its current level of 10% of turnover.

Swyx is headquartered in Dortmund and employs 150 people. The company develops corporate communication software for mid-sized companies. It integrates and connects voice, instant messaging and video communication channels and is hosted by a cloud service. Swyx has 1,200 local partners in Europe and generated sales of €30.9m in 2015, according to publicly available documents.
