
Verium buys Ceposa
Swiss multi-family office Verium has acquired a majority stake in Mediterranean food producer Ceposa.
Verium provides Swiss families with wealth advisory services, including opportunistic private equity fund investments and direct investments into companies in the health, technology and consumer goods industries.
For its direct investments, Verium has a minimum size of CHF 8m per transaction, according to Unquote Data.
The founder and former CEO of Ceposa, Hanspeter Baer, and his wife Yvonne will continue to support the company as consultants but will withdraw from day-to-day operational involvement.

Founded in 1999, Ceposa is a Swiss producer of Mediterranean appetisers. It produces eight tonnes of antipasti per week, supplying 500 clients in Switzerland and neighbouring countries. The company currently has 46 employees and the product range comprises 350 products in the area of antipasti, olives and sauces.
