
DBAG buys Von Poll Immobilien
Deutsche Beteiligungs AG has acquired a majority stake in German real estate agency Von Poll Immobilien.
It is the third investment from DBAG ECF I, which raised €85m for its latest vintage in June 2017 and will be around two thirds deployed after this transaction.
DBAG made a co-investment of €11.7m from its balance sheet in Von Poll. DBAG ECF I generally makes equity investments between €10-30m.
DBAG will support the internationalisation of the company, which currently has 800 estate agents working under its brand, mainly in the DACH region. Its first targets will be the French, Italian, Spanish, UK and Polish markets.

Von Poll is a real estate agency headquartered in Frankfurt. It focuses on the sale and rental of premium residential properties in the DACH region. The company has 280 offices in Germany and nine other European companies, with 800 estate agents working under its brand. It directly employs 120 people and generated sales of €70m in 2017.
