
Consortium of VCs exit Indoo.rs
Indoo.rs, an indoor positioning software provider and portfolio company of Austria-based VCs Speedinvest, Techinvest and Tecnet Equity, has been acquired by mapping software provider Esri.
The company will be integrated with Esri's indoor mapping division ArGIS Indoors. Indoo.rs' headquarters will now serve as a research and development centre for Esri in Vienna.
Previous funding
Speedinvest acquired a minority stake in the company for an undisclosed sum in a seed round in 2013. Techinvest and Tecnet also participated.
In 2015, the three existing investors participated in a venture round led by Tecnet that raised €750,000 for the company.
Tecnet then led another venture round in 2016. Speedinvest also participated as the consortium raised €1m.
The three existing investors joined again in 2018 to invest a further €410,000 in the company.

Founded in 2010, Indoo.rs now employs 20 people. It is headquartered in Vienna and operates a sales office in San Francisco. The company provides indoor positioning software and proprietary data for businesses.
