Orlando carves our Nidec's compressor business
Private equity firm Orlando Management has completed the carve-out of Nidec's European and North American compressors division.
Orlando drew capital from European Special Situations Venture Partners IV, a €320m vehicle that held a final close in May 2017.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals in Germany, Austria and Spain, and also needs the approval of the European Commission.

Nidec's compressors division makes a range of compressors for refrigerators and other mobile and stationary appliances, such as boats, caravans, trucks, vans, buses and telecoms stations. The company is headquartered in Munich.
