
VR Equitypartner acquires Signon
VR Equityparnter has acquired a majority stake in IT service Signon Austria.
Management have reinvested in the company as part of the transaction.
Frankfurt-based VR Equitypartner does not invest from a standard closed-ended fund but has approximately €500m in equity invested in 100 companies.
Following the transaction, the company will expand its service offering, geographical footprint and headcount, as well as alter its organisational structure.
Previous funding
In 2013, TÜV Süd acquired a majority stake in the company, making Signon an independent company within the group.

Vienna-based Signon is an IT service specialising in mobility, infrastructure and digitalisation. Founded in 2011, the company employs 50 people.
